Starbucks has said it will offer free hot drinks to all NHS, council and paramedic workers as the country continues to battle the ongoing coronavirus.
“In support of their courage, commitment and resilience, we will offer free filtered coffee to all NHS, council and emergency services staff, effective immediately,” Starbucks said.
Workers will be able to show their badge at the checkout for a free filter coffee every day.
Fast food chain McDonald’s is giving away free drinks to frontline staff during the Coronavirus.
All NHS, council and emergency service staff will be eligible for the freebie, which the chain is offering as a ‘thank you’ for the ‘tireless work’ health and care workers are doing to fight the spread of the pandemic.
All workers will need to do is show their work pass at their local restaurant or drive thru branches to receive the free hot or cold drink item from the menu.
Pret A Manger is giving free hot drinks to all NHS staff during the Coronavirus pandemic.
All frontline staff will be able to claim free tea or coffee and also receive an additional 50% off other items such as sandwiches and cakes.
The message read: “Dear NHS Workers, Your hot drinks are on the house from today, and we’ll take 50% off everything else. Thank you for everything you are doing. We look forward to serving you. With love, Everyone at Pret”
NHS workers can get a free pizza from selected Domino’s Pizza branches across the UK this Friday.
The franchise owner shared its plan to offer the free takeaway to thank frontline staff for their efforts during the Coronavirus outbreak.
All NHS workers will be able to redeem the offer by showing their work ID at participating stores on Friday 20 March.
As a show of support and as a thank you Burger King are offering free drinks for all NHS workers, emergency and social workers.
Burger King tweeted on Twitter: “From all of us at Burger King, we want to say thank you, to all the incredible emergency services, health and social care workers, for all your efforts to keep us safe and secure at this difficult time. If you show your NHS ID at the counter, drinks are on us. Love BK”
Good old Greggs are offering free hot drinks to all emergency service personnel and health and social care workers at any of their outlets on presentation of work passes.
Please remember that many of the restaurants are sensibly enforcing take away or delivery only options.
